Our Story

Sparrow & Plumb launched in 2020 with aspirations of creating beautiful furniture that lightens up your home. We are based in the heart of Somerset and find inspiration from our wonderful surroundings. I studied Design at Manchester University and went onto design and work in the Furniture Industry where I have gained valuable skills and experiences. Ed, my husband is a fully qualified Carpenter with over 10 years experience and runs his own locally established Carpentry business.

Together when we moved into our own home in 2019, we quickly realised how hard it was to find unique and colourful furniture that would brighten up the space and make it feel special.

I have always dreamed of running my own business involving stunning prints and this seemed to be the light bulb that popped in my life!

We are perfectionist and love designing and making unique and quality furniture. We hope to produce products that lift your interiors and enable you to enjoy the ambience of the home you have so lovingly created. Our main objective is to develop designs that are environmentally conscious. Unfortunately, we live in an age where possessions are not appreciated and discarded too quickly, we live in an age where resources are wasted and over consumed. We want to produce quality products that have been thoroughly thought about from design to dispatch, we want to use 100% recycled packaging and have minimal impact on the environment.

We want our future children and children’s children to appreciate the beauty of nature and design we so luckily have. This is why we are so proud of our business.
